< Back NCATT Aircraft Electronics Technician Next > Get In Touch NCATT AET Avionics Electronics Technician The Federal Aviation Administration has formally recognized ASTM’s National Center for Aerospace and Transportation Technologies (NCATT) Aircraft Electronics Technician (AET) certification as equivalent to formal Avionics Technician training when showing eligibility for earning a repairman certificate. The NCATT AET certification examination is open to all individuals. In addition to completing the AET certification, individuals must complete the following ASTM NCATT endorsements: Autonomous Navigation Systems ( ANS ) Dependent Navigation Systems ( DNS ) Onboard Communications and Safety Systems ( OCS ) Radio Communication Systems ( RCS ) *Endorsements needs AET certification and cost $200 each. *NCATT AET and Endorsement are self-study, Instructors are available for a rate of $60 an hour.
