Orlando, FL/Aviation News/March 18, 2022 (www.avionicsea.com/)Boeing and Aurora Flight Sciences, a Boeing subsidiary, will modify a Saab 340B aircraft powered by GE CT7-9B turboprop engines. The modification includes the nacelle, the engine pods under the wing and cockpit software and interface, that will analyze the plane’s performance.
The Cost
$260 million is being funded by investments from NASA, GE Aviation, Boeing and others for a period of 5 years.
