Flight control issues landing at Paris-CDG

Paris-CDG/Aviation News/April 5, 2022 (www.avionicsea.com/)Air France Boeing 777-328ER flight AF11 from New York-John F. Kennedy International Airport, NY (JFK/KJFK) to Charles de Gaulle, France (CGD/ZGCD) had serious flight control issues moments before landing at Paris-CDG Airport.


The crew safely landed the plane minutes later.

Pilots of AF11 had a serious issue with commands on final. The crew had to manage a serious issue at very low altitude. The Boeing 777 (reg. F-GSQJ) was on final approach to runway 26L when the crew reported an issue with the flight controls. The plane did not respond to the commands and deviate to the left at 1,200 ft then a holding pattern at 4,000ft and returned to Paris CDG for a safe landing on runway 27R.
