Suddenly lost altitude and impacted terrain

Fort Lauderdale, FL/Aviation News/March 21, 2022 (www.avionicsea.com/)China's Civil Aviation Authority (CAAC) confirmed the aircraft B737-800, registration B-1791 has crashed. China Eastern prompts to ground all 737-800 starting next week.


Flight MU-5735 from Kunming to Guangzhou with 123 passengers on board and 9 crew was enroute when the aircraft suddenly descend from flight level 290 and impacted mountains near the Wuzhou region. Rescue and investigation are underway at the crash site. China Eastern expresses condolences to passengers and crew families.


Tracking Data

Aircraft data showed the Boeing 737 NG cruising at 29,000 feet dropped and impacted ground in about two minutes.


The 737-800 Next Generation (NG) have different engines and systems and does not necessarily mean is identical to the 737-MAX crashes. The data shows similarities but we have to wait for the investigation.


The Federal Aviation Administration tweet today that is aware of the crash and is ready to assist in the investigation.


Boeing stock declines after China Eastern airlines plane crash. Boeing stock dropped on premarket today before the opening bell with 8% with a low of $184.40.


ADS-B data confirmed a very fast rate of descend of 31,000 feet per minute.
