Delta Air Lines brings the first A321 NEO

Atlanta GA/Aviation News/March 28, 2022 (www.avionicsea.com/)Delta takes the first Airbus 321 NEO (New Engine Option) 194-seat airplane including 20 domestic First Class seats, 42 Delta Comfort+ seats and 132 Main Cabin seats, all with memory-foam cushioning. Customers will enjoy Delta’s wireless in-flight entertainment system at every seat, spacious overhead bins and access to fast-streaming Wi-Fi and power ports.


Delta expects to bring 26 more A321neos to its fleet for 2022, and a total of 155 purchase commitments through 2027.

The Airbus A321 NEO powered by Pratt & Whitney GTF™ engines, offers 20% better fuel efficiency over Delta’s current A321 CEO (Current Engine Option) engines.

Delta’s Technical Operations teams prepare the new models for service, Delta’s first A321neo is scheduled to enter into service in May.
